We have single-bedroom cottages and two-bedroom or three-bedroom villas for you to choose from.
Tree house

We have 2 Tree houses set deep inside the estate and it cut off from the main resort area and you will feel that you are the only human in the world. The tree houses are 20 feet high, spacious and gives excellent views of the Jungle and mountains beyond. If you are looking to stay far away from humans, this is an ideal option for you. Electricity is provided by batteries charged by solar, so you won’t be able to use any high-wattage devices. Charging points are available in your tree house to charge your cameras and phones. Each tree house has a double bed and a single bed, can comfortably sleep 3 adults. Since you are inside the Jungle, you will be able to see wildlife from your tree house and so complete silence is a must.
The tree house would have a covered balcony, an open balcony, a large airy bedroom opening out into the wild and a bathroom with running water and there is a caretaker always at the ready to assist you with your needs.

Jungle Cottage is the premium cottage we have because of the view it offers. The Jungle cottage has one bedroom, attached and fully functional bathroom, one balcony and an open sun-deck that faces the meadows, the waterhole, the jungle and the mountains beyond! It is ideal for 2 or 3 adults, it’ll have a double bed and a single bed in the spacious room. You will be able to see animals right from your balcony it self.

The 2 bedroom twin villa has 2 bedrooms, 2 fully equipped bathrooms, and 2 separate large balcony. These are the largest rooms we have in the Retreat and it can comfortably sleep 2 to 3 adults. It has one large double bed and one single bed in each of the rooms, the large balcony faces the jungle and also gives a partial view of the meadows and waterhole.

The Jungle Villa has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 balconies and a large sundeck all under one roof and it is ideal for extended families or a group of friends. It has an entry room where we can arrange a double bed, and the Villa can accommodate 6 to 9 adults comfortably. The Villa is set close to the boundary of the jungle, and it is built on pillars 10 feet from the ground.

- Jungle awareness trek – The best way to understand the wild is to explore on foot. You will be accompanied by highly trained guides.
- Bird watching trek – Your guide would take you to birdwatching trek where you are likely to see close to 50 different species of birds.
- Night camping in the watchtower – Ever wanted to spend a night deep in the wilderness far away from people? If yes, you’d love this.
- Night trail – Unique opportunity to explore the wilderness on foot at night using a Thermal Imager, this is when the jungle comes alive.
- Bush breakfast or lunch – We will arrange a meal for you deep in the woods under the large fig tree near a frequently used waterhole.
- Campfire under the starlit sky – Enjoy homemade soup while experiencing the sights and sounds of the jungle (weather permitting).
- Swim in the private rock pool – The rock pool with waterfall is sanitized after each use, & it’ll be made available to one family per day.

Jungle Awareness Trek
Jungle awareness trek is a 3 KM trek (90 minutes) around our retreat and there is every chance of you seeing animals during this trek. You will be accompanied by a highly trained guide/naturalist who will explain to you the sights and sounds that you are likely to come across during the trek. Jungle awareness trek is all about giving you an in-depth understanding of the Indian jungles.
What to carry:
Good walking shoes, camouflage or dull coloured full sleeve clothes, cap or hat, camera, mobile phone, water bottle, trekking poles, binoculars, guide books
Cost: Rs 1000 per person
Night drive and campfire by the riverside
We start the drive towards the remote jungle stream by around 7 PM, and there is a high likelihood of animal sightings en-route to the jungle stream. There are a few animal crossing points along the road and animal sightings are very common on this remote jungle road that we take to reach the campfire spot. The campfire is arranged right next to the Kalindi river which cuts through the jungle and it is an amazing experience to listen to the stream and the jungles all around while you enjoy local delicacies cooked on open fire. When you look up, you’ll see a billion stars shining as there is no pollution here in this remote corner of the world. You will be accompanied by a trained guide and also a Tribal leader and it is a good opportunity to interact with them and listen to their experiences. We will be back in the Retreat by around 9:30 PM.
What to carry:
Jacket or a shawl to ward off the cold, a torch, mobile phones.

2.5 hour long wildlife safari in Nagarahole National Park
We have a tie up with Kabini and Nagarahole and we highly recommend the safaris provided by them. The safari drives last 2.5 hours and you’ll be accompanied by an expert guide/tracker in the vehicle and this needs to be pre-booked since availability is limited. Nagarahole has a very high number of Tigers and you are very likely to see Tigers during this drive, along with other animals. The safari is very professionally conducted and if you are a wildlife lover, it is a must-do. It is a 20 minute drive from the Retreat to the starting point of the safari and you can use your vehicle to do so, the jungle roads are very motorable.

Camping in the wilderness
This is a very unique activity that we provide, where we take you to the remote Northern-most part of our Retreat. The idea is to find an ideal camping spot, collect firewood, collect water, get your hammocks, sleeping bag set up and get ready to spend the night in the wilderness under the starlit sky with no human beings around for miles! You will cook the dinner on open fire, we will take marinated chicken, noodles, eggs, soup, vegetables, fruits. coffee/tea for the night. The location is so remote that you’ll feel you are the only human beings in the world and you will not see or hear any man-made sights or sounds during your camping. Once the night sets in, that is when you will realize how alive the jungle is. You will be spending time around the fire which will keep you warm and safe and you will also be accompanied by a highly trained naturalist and a local Tribal elder who knows the jungle better than any. The idea is to experience the wilderness up close and it is also a unique opportunity to learn some of the survival skills such as starting a fire, finding and purifying water, setting up a temporary camp and more! We do not take more than one family or one group at a time for this activity and it’d be a very private experience and we’d also make sure that you are safe. After spending the night in the wilderness, we will walk back to your cottage the next morning in time for your breakfast.

Spending the night in the watchtower in the wilderness
This is another unique activity that we provide, where we take you to the remote watch tower at the Western end of our Retreat. We have a large, sturdy watchtower 20 feet high facing the jungles and there is every possibility of you seeing animals while on the watch tower. We will reach the watch tower by 5:00 pm, set up your hammock, sleeping bag, we’ll carry a flask of hot tea or coffee along with sandwich and fruits, that would be the dinner for the night. There is a basic toilet in the watchtower, so you don’t have to leave the watchtower till the next morning. The idea is to listen to the sights and sounds of the jungle in the night, which is when the jungle comes alive. You are very likely to see animals from your watchtower and the idea is to observe them silently without disturbing them. This is a must-do for a wildlife lover! We take only one family with us, it will be a safe and very private experience. After spending the night in the watchtower, we will walk back to your cottage the next morning in time for your breakfast.

- We have a Go-Green initiative, and so we don’t provide paper bills. GST bill is sent via email post check out
- Room and activity rates will differ during long holidays and peak season
- Rooms are let out on dual occupancy basis – minimum charge for 2 adults per room, additional person charged extra
- We do not have room service, all meals to be had at the restaurant
- Children under 5 years accommodated free of charge, 5 to 8 is half rate, full rate for children 9 yrs and above
- Back-up electricity in Villa and Cottage provided via Inverter (4 hours max)
- If booking is done via travel portals, please check and get booking confirmation directly from us to get your booking confirmed
- 50% refund if cancellation / date change is done more than 30 days prior to stay. 25% refunded if it is 15 days prior to stay
